Day 358: There’s one in every pack…..

A jackass that is…..this ones name is Tumbleweed.  🙂 We love him, he’s our Guard Donkey and he keeps our cattle safe.  I’m not even sure that he realizes that he does this but donkeys naturally are aggressive towards dogs, coyotes and other critters for their own defense and because of that they provide indirect protection for domestic animals and cattle! 🙂 Especially the new babies that drop on the ground and the wild coyotes love to taste if given the chance.

The predators usually don’t like to mess with the size of the donkeys or their smell and so they go on about their business. 🙂

Isn’t he cute…..you should hear him talk….it’s just adorable too…..especially at 5 a.m.! haha! I guess it IS ok to be an ass every now and then!  Tumbleweed thinks SO!

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
