Day 356: Blue Robin Eggs

If you follow my blog then you know my obsession with finding little birds nests and watching them hatch to life.  Well as I watered my roses one morning I saw a nest…..and FINALLY the prettiest little blue robin eggs ever!

I’ve been on the hunt for lil blue eggs.  It was so dark that I waited until the next morning to try and snap away and I found a surprise….I was too late.

A lil TEENY TINY preemie bird had hatched and was laying curled up on the other eggs.

I must have finally roused it awake but its lil eyes weren’t even open yet.

I’ll be back to see if the others hatch out soon…..this little face looks to me likes he crying out for them to join him to come play! 🙂

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
