Light through the Darkness…..

If you want to know the truth I enjoy playing with my photos in post process editing almost as much as I like taking them.  I don’t like to manipulate the images too much because I think that as journalists and photographers we should have SOME responsibility of ethics to uphold.

(SOAPBOX)  Lord knows we don’t need anymore photo shopped photos of unrealistic stick models for us girls to feel even more insecure about! 😉 BUT I do think that a little tweaking and playing with filters can be fun.

I found a little light through the darkness when I looked up one day and depending on my mood would usually depend on how I edited the picture but I thought I’d have some fun and share with you a couple of the same image just finalized a little different!

How do you see your light through the darkness?  If you don’t like it…..tweak it! 🙂

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
