Day 110: Shutter Speed Night Challenge…

I love playing with aperture depth of field but to make another confession I hardly ever like to mess with shutter speed….unless I have the time to set up a shot.  It’s tough for me to remember to change the shutter speed setting during the middle of a shoot (esp with little children)….or at least with my brain running 90-nothing during a photo shoot sometimes I just plain forget…but you can do some fun things with shutter speed and so tonight we practiced again…. at night (something I’m still a lil uneasy by)….. but I could see where you could do some REALLY cool things!

“A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed…It feels an impulsion…this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.”  ~Richard Bach

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
