Abstract Cactus

Jordan got me this cactus pot when he was in Arizona one Spring Traiing and they’ve been in my house growing and growing ever since…..now that the weather’s been so nice I decided to let them go outside for some fresh air and man they’ve almost doubled!!  Pterodactyl Cacti!! Haha!

I love cactus because it’s hard for my non-green thumb-ness to kill them!  They are very low maintenance so today I am glorifying them for being so easy to maintain by making them my muse!

I’m also practicing my new lens and its macro capabilities! 🙂  Not too shabby!!

Sparkle and Spur but remember not to squat with them on…..or it might feel like you sit on this cactus!

“Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. To ”Why am I here?” To uselessness. It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.”  ~Enid Bagnold

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
