Expanding my horizons with a new Birthday Girl “Big Girl” Lens….I took it to an event, that believe it or not, I lettered in all four years of high school in…..a golf event. I know right? ME the golfer?…..
I was there for my job to take pictures of the teams but while I was there I also used it as my muse and had a little fun taking some golf pictures.
In Bethel Acres, Oklahoma you can imagine that why I call it “Cowgirl golfing” is because one way we’d get practice driving range practice in at home was driving the hard cow manure patties into the pasture or see if we could hit them over the pond…fond memories.
But I learned a little golf because I was told once when I was young, by a business woman in town, that a lot of business deals are made on the golf course and there were many opportunities women missed out on in business if they didn’t know how. So….that is why I picked up the sport and why today I am appreciative that I knew a little golf etiquette when I was asked to do this event.
Sometimes a little “Cowgirl Golfing” will make you appreciative when you hear “FORE!” and you know what that means! 🙂
