When one door closes…

Today’s muse is a stained glass window (OHHH how I LOVE stained glass and wish every window in my house was so it would let in beautiful colors of light)…..There through the looking glass I see…..

The other muse….. a door knob that I wish would telling me like he did Alice, “Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction.”

With my 29th Birthday approaching tomorrow and the end of my 20-somethings being tossed out the window I have someday where I feel like Alice in Wonderland spiraling down, down, down…..wondering where all the time went?  But then I remember that when one door closes……:)

“Great communicators have an appreciation for positioning. They understand the people they’re trying to reach and what they can and can’t hear. They send their message in through an open door rather than trying to push it through a wall.” ~ John Kotter

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
