Secret Spot…

I LOVE stained glass…everything about it! The colors and the way the lights make them pop and if you’ve ever been to my house then you know my love affair with decorating my house in crosses.  They hold a special meaning in my heart both literally and spiritually.

I LOVE my job but if I didn’t have to work and could travel around visiting my umpire more I’d want to spend my time in thrift shops, at garage sales and rummaging through junk finding old stained glass and re-do all the windows in my house! (Hey, I can dream!)  🙂

For now this is where I go to find my center and have some quiet me time when the world gets too hectic.  It’s the perfect little spot!

 Sparkle and Spur!

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

About dustiebill

Born, raised and still trying to live life as an Oklahoma cowgirl. I have a travel loving soul and I LOVE photography. My blog has started out as a place for me to post my 365 photo-a-day challenge....I have now found a love for fine art. Specifically Horse or Western Inspired Photography. I love my husband, kids, DIY projects, horses, wine, lightening, post-it notes, colored sharpie markers, trolling garage sales, baseball, cooking, shopping, working outside in the garden and living a simple country life. If you own a piece of our work you own more than just a piece of art. Thank you for supporting cowgirls. Sparkle and Spur Dustie Bill
